After graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park, with degrees in Accounting and History, Kirsten settled in Columbia. She started her career in public accounting, becoming a CPA, before moving into the corporate sector. She and her husband Luke, also an accountant, are raising their daughter, Lily, in Columbia Town Center. When Lily began elementary school, Kirsten decided to start consulting in order to have time for Lily’s school and ballet activities. She has enjoyed working on the PTA and supporting teachers in the classroom.
Kirsten also serves on the Columbia Town Center Community Association and the Inner Arbor Trust Board. She graduated from University of Maryland, University College, with her MBA focused on international business.
Kirsten volunteers for the Howard County Library and other causes around Central Maryland. She believes literacy is the key to education and is often found with many books at her side.
